LinkedIn and Market Yourself Workshop

LinkedIn is one of the most powerful tools to use for expanded your network to prospective and potentials yet many undergraduates lack the knowledge of how to utilize the platform. 

We asked for Jazmin Barnes, an expert LinkedIn user, to join us to share her tips and tricks for optimizing your LinkedIn profile and basic professional marketing tips.  

During this workshop, the scholars were able to set up an effective profile consisting of their experience and future goals as well as tips on marketing yourself in your bio. They, also, learned the difference between following and connecting with people. Lastly, they learned the importance of creating content on the platform. 

We thank Jazmin Barnes for assisting us through the world of LinkedIn. This experience was one to remember and will enhance the trajectory of the scholar’s future careers.
