Pharmacy School Workshop

September 12th, Jessie Edgar joined us to highlight his career path through Pharmacy school. He covered the prerequisites for entering pharmacy school and his personal journey through pharmacy school. Jessie, also, offered pointers for navigating the experience, but overall provided some good life advice. 

Through the eyes of scholar, Ayana Ousley, Jessie helped her to understand the only thing constant in life is that change will happen. She found inspiration in the part of Jessie’s story where he mentioned he did not intend to attend pharmacy school. She resonated with this aspect because she never thought public health would be her end goal when coming to college. After learning that other’s transitions became the best decision they made, she was able to overcome the feeling of uncertainty with her most academic recent switch.
